Troupe Raqs El Sehr was formed by Saqra in 1993. Our philosophy is to remain an exciting, entertaining dance troupe while fostering friendship and sisterhood in the dance community. We are all ages, all sizes, all ethnic backgrounds and all dancers. This is our tenth year of hosting Shimmy Shake and Share and we are grateful to our sister in dance Cynara for starting this event so we may continue in her memory. We hope that she would be proud. Thank you for your support!
